This is at the KOA in Cortez, Colorado. Floyd and Bob have their campers set up and ready to go. Sonny and I are waiting for our tents to set themselves up, which never happens. ha

We arose with the Roosters, on the morning of the 17th. of July and hit the road to the Grand Canyon, by way of Four Corners. By the way, Floyd didn't crow until about 8:00 AM.

We hit route 160 to Four Corners, and here a scene along the way.

Here is the entrance to Four Courners.

You can see the flags of the states that come together at Four Courners. This is the only place in the US where 4 states come to a surveyed point together. Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah.

On this spot you can stand in four states at one time.

Here the 3 desparados, stand on the spot. Bob was running around eating Fry bread, while we took this shot. Floyd on the left, me in the center and Sonny on the right.

Back out on Hwy. 160, to hwy 89, to hwy 180, to Grand Canyon Village where we would spend 2 nights. That Dot is Floyd blazing a trail out in front. Keep up if you can.

This is a ahot along the way. I beleive this is the hottest air I ever saw. It was like having a hair dryer aimed at the back of my hands. Almost unbearable.
